"On behalf of the Indian Head Center for the Arts’ board of directors, I would like to tell you how much we enjoyed your musical tribute to the Rat Pack era. It was right up my alley, so to speak, and [GrooveSpan] made all the guests want to jump up and dance – which so many did. It was a fun evening and your personal renditions were great.
In addition, it was very gracious of you to donate a great auction item. You had three aggressive woman all vying for your private musical evening and the accompanying CDs. It was so thoughtful.
You are a beautiful vocalist and a warm personality. No wonder everyone who hears and knows you loves you. Count the 160 guests in attendance on Friday."
- Evelyn Hungerford, IHCA Board of Directors: "All That Jazz" Fundraiser Event, 2011
"We received so many pleasant comments about the entire event, but many of them were about how good you guys were! We could not have been more pleased. When I saw Jennifer, I told her to put us down for the 4th next year!"
- Kirk MacKinnon, PAX River's Edge Conference Center: "July 4th Celebration, 2011"
"Words cannot explain what a wonderful evening [GrooveSpan] provided for Uncle Lowell at his 100th Birthday party. Everyone from our house painter, to the environmental attorney, to the former Director of Research for the Federal Reserve under Greenspan... loved your music. The music was perfect and Uncle Lowell knew just about every song you [performed]. This morning, our phone started ringing and has rung all day about what a great evening you provided. Thank you so very, very much. We WILL have you back!!!"
- Bud Siemering, host of Uncle Lowell's 100th Birthday Party at his residence, 09/08/12
"I just wanted to let you know how much we all enjoyed your performance at my parents' party. Everyone went on and on about how good you all are! [We] appreciate all you did to accommodate the extra little things [we] threw in [i.e. wireless mic system for announcements, laptop and ipod set-up through sound system for karaoke and special music, etc.]. Personally, I couldn't imagine having any other band but GrooveSpan for this party. Besides all of the wonderful people that came to celebrate, you guys were the heart of the party!"
- S. Jones, host of parents' 50th Anniversary party at Solomons Yacht Club, 09/15/12
